Recorded in the fall of 2015 on two separate improvised sessions, Places in Motion is a minimalist project of continuous looping MIDI and synthesizer sounds heavily inspired by the works of minimalists Philip Glass & Steve Reich. All electronic and midi triggered, the sessions were recorded using patterns, grids and loops using sampler instruments and synthesizers, with no prior arrangements as it was all improvised on the spot. Exploration of minimalist themes and repetitive sequences. For the fans of repetitive sounds.
